Program Notes

Tutti presents a distinctive orchestral approach to the chamber ensemble, skillfully synthesizing instruments to forge a cohesive and expansive sonic tapestry. The central note, Eb, assumes a pivotal role, acting as the center of gravity around which the musical journey unfolds. The composition deftly juxtaposes breath-like moments of flux with decisive breaking points, creating a captivating ebb and flow.

Numerous dichotomies, such as natural/tempered, attack/resonance, gravity/saturation, linear/non-linear, rhetorical/juxtaposed, and pitch/noise, form the crux of essential musical interactions. These contrasting elements infuse the piece with depth and complexity, engaging the listener on multiple levels.
